The Summer Research Fellowship Programme (SRFP) is a prestigious initiative introduced in 1991 by the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR). The program is designed to offer valuable research exposure to science and engineering students at the bachelor’s and master’s level. Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: The program is open to students pursuing UG/PG degrees in Science, Engineering, Technology, Medicine, or Veterinary Sciences.
- Academic Requirements: Applicants must have secured a minimum of 65% in core subjects (10th, 12th, or equivalent) and a first-class grade in their current degree program.
General Information:
- Fellowship: Selected students will receive a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month for two months.
- Travel Allowance: Students are provided a travel allowance for the second sleeper train fare to and from JNCASR.
- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 must be paid through NEFT/IMPS.
- Referee Recommendation: After submitting the application, candidates must provide a referee recommendation letter.
