The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), established on July 31, 2008, under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (now Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013), is a not-for-profit public limited company. Operating under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, NSDC was created by the Ministry of Finance. The Government of India, through the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), owns 49% of the organization, while the private sector holds the remaining 51%.

NSDC’s Mission
NSDC’s core focus is to promote skill development by supporting the creation of high-quality, profitable vocational institutions. It also provides funding to encourage scalable training initiatives, acting as a catalyst in skill enhancement. The organization builds support systems that emphasize quality assurance, trainer development, and robust information systems. Additionally, NSDC collaborates with private sector enterprises to develop models that enhance and support vocational training across 37 key sectors, making them attractive for private investment.

Position Overview: Senior Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of training partners to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Data Analysis: Gather and evaluate data from multiple sources to monitor performance, detect trends, and identify areas needing improvement.
- Reporting: Create detailed reports and dashboards for senior management, presenting essential performance indicators (KPIs) linked to operations.
- Monitoring & Compliance: Conduct routine monitoring following established timelines and SOPs, with an emphasis on addressing compliance concerns.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with training partners to resolve issues, implement quality improvement strategies, and promptly address grievances or operational challenges.
- Outreach & Engagement: Develop and execute initiatives to engage training providers, fostering their growth and continuous improvement.
- Data Expertise: Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills and other data management tools for effective analysis and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations, stakeholder management, monitoring, or data analytics.
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
