The Kirloskar Institute of Management (KIM) is excited to announce the fourth edition of the KIRIT 5.0 competition, an inter-collegiate case-analysis challenge designed to test the critical thinking and problem-solving skills of students. This year, in collaboration with several Kirloskar Group companies, including Kirloskar Industries Limited (KIL), Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL), and Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited (KPCL), the competition promises to provide a platform for young talents to propose innovative solutions to real-world managerial problems faced by large organizations.

About the Competition
KIRIT 5.0 aims to give young minds a chance to demonstrate their ability to analyze complex business cases and propose actionable solutions. The competition is open to all undergraduate students across various disciplines like B.Tech/BE, BBA, B.Com, B.A., B.Sc., and BCA. Teams will be required to tackle real-time business problems and submit solutions that reflect deep insights and creative strategies.

Eligibility & Team Rules
Participation is free, and the competition is open to full-time undergraduate students from across India. Each team can consist of three members, and while teams with at least one female member will be given preference, this is not mandatory. Importantly, all team members must be from the same institute, though they can come from different years or departments. Additionally, participants are not allowed to be part of more than one team.
Prizes & Recognition
The winners of KIRIT 5.0 will receive a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 and Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunities, offering a direct path to potential employment with Kirloskar Group companies. The runner-up team will win ₹75,000, with participation certificates awarded to all involved.
